About the Blog

Let me share why I chose this name. I’ve always been fascinated by banyan trees; they feel both majestic and calming at once. Whenever I sit beneath one and look up at its vast canopy, I can’t help but marvel at its grandeur. I often juxtapose this expansiveness with that of the universe, and in doing so, I’m instantly humbled by my own insignificance in comparison to these magnificent creations.

I named the blog after the banyan tree because, much like the tree itself, this space is meant for reflection, insight, and learning. It is my digital garden, one I hope to share with the world. And just as people rest, contemplate, and breathe under the shade of a banyan tree, this blog is my virtual equivalent - my mental rest-stop for slow thinking, deep ideas, and mindful writing. The banyan tree is also a place where people gather and exchange stories, and I hope my readers will do the same here - engage, connect, and converse.
